I have broken yet another camera...this is the 3rd one this year so unfortunately I cannot show you the photo of the monkey that I made for Mitch my son. Its his birthday next month and while he is still young enough to like the thing I make I will make the most of it.....and I'm ahead of schedule.
We still have seats available for the "Christmas Is" workshop on Sunday the 21st of September. Saturday is full. So please call the store on 035634 2755 to reserve your place.
Thanks Natalie
Dont forget tomorrow is the day to book in for "Christmas Is..." workshop.
I have had a few enquiries about the quilt that I have been making (that I will get back tonight...Yeah). It is from the book Miss Millies Flower Patch, by Bronwyn Hayes. The book is available through the store website.
As is....Rosalies new book "Gift".
and also....Annie Downs new book "Simple Pleasures"
Thank You to all these amazing ladies for such wonderful work.....We are so lucky to have you all. Cheers Natalie.
Hello and welcome to term three 2008.
Yes its half way through the year already. That means time to start on some Christmas projects. Or at least finish the ones off from last year.
Term 2 offered a stunning quilt designed by Jennifer Knol, a Dresden
The information for the Christmas workshop is also available online. We are very excited to have Gail Pan, Vivian Robinson, Kerrie Gillespie and Amanda Browning designing for you this year. Bookings open at 10am on Saturday July 5th.
We are all being hit hard by the rising cost of living, it is mainly the fuel prices that are eating into our spare spending cash. So as a special offer to Candleberry Country shoppers I am going to cover the cost of traveling to the store.
In store now is a voucher for $20 off the cost of all floor stock when you spend $100 in one transaction. There is no limit on how many you can use, however the sale must be for $100 amounts. Small business is being hit hardest and particularly rural stores. If we want these unique and special stores to continue to be our favorite places we must all support them. So beat the winter blues, get a group of friends together for a day out in Yarragon, pop down for lunch and get yourself a new kit or the fabric to finish off an existing project.
All vouchers will then go into a raffle for an additional $50 store voucher drawn on the14th of July 08.
Please view class lists and workshop details online at www.candleberrycountry.com.au
Thanks for reading and hope to see you soon. Natalie, Marjolijn, Amanda & Marg.
Thanks Amanda for moving the dresser and creating this beautiful display.....It looks fab.
Another quiet corner at Candleberry Country.
I have almost finished....This is my project for today to get the borders on and take it to Pam the quilter......
My favorite block...This is from the book Miss Millies flower patch by Bronwyn Hayes.
The frames have arrived. We order these beautiful handmade frames in from a local craft person. This is the size that fitted in Jens birds and heart design at the workshop. The cut out measures 7 x 20 inches. I have 8 in stock and they cost $40 each.
I must apologies for my lack of blogging......I broke my camera (by dropping it on the concrete) I replaced it straight away but the new camera was putting all my shots into a folder where I couldn't find them...I'm not very computer savvy, Thanks Ben for finding them. So now I'm back.
We are going to change the shop opening hours this will mean that the store is open every day till 4:00 pm. Thats Monday until Saturday 10am - 4pm. and Sunday 11am-4pm. hope you can stop in for a visit soon Nat.
