School holiday, what better time to stay home and do something constructive? I had a day off yesterday, both of my children had friends over to play so that ment one thing....Sewing! I finished this table mat from Hatched & Patched Its called "Lets Celebrate" & I have almost finished 2 other quilts. I will show you them as soon as they are complete.(next week).
We have got some lovely new things in the store. Sue Daly from patchwork with busy fingers has a new book called "A road less traveled". this has full instructions for the beautiful paper pieced quilts and projects in the book.
We have this beautiful Michael Miller fabric that would be perfect for a new apron. I hope your holidays are fun with the kids. See you soon Nat. P.S. bookings open for our September workshop tomorrow.
Hi Nat, That table mat looks quite sweet with a lot of intricate stitchery. I love the colour selection. THe book you mentioned with some paper pieced patterns in it- do you mean English paper piecing or foundation piecing. ( It's just that I find some people refer to paper piecing when it is actually foundation piecing.) As I do a lot of English paper piecing I am interested in the book. Happy school holidays. I am out of touch these days as I have adult children.
